A pump without collar is a spray mechanism crimped directly onto the neck of the perfume bottle, with no separate decorative ring fitted over it. Because the metal ferrule that grips the bottle remains exposed, this type is usually paired with a cap that conceals it. When the actuator is pressed, the valve opens, the dip tube draws the liquid upward, and the fragrance is released as a fine mist.
